Privacy Policy — BASOUL Accounting
Effective date: September 2, 2026
BASOUL Accounting is developed and operated by ELSHENAWY RADWAN. This policy explains how BASOUL Accounting handles information when users access the web application or Android application.
Information processed
BASOUL Accounting processes information necessary to authenticate users and provide organization-scoped accounting services. Depending on the data entered by an authorized organization, this can include account identity information such as an email address, organization membership and role information, business contact records, customer and supplier information, invoices, purchases, payments, ledger and reporting data, company settings, and related accounting records.
The Android application does not use the device address book as its customer or supplier source. Contacts shown in BASOUL Accounting are business records stored in the BASOUL Accounting service. The current Android client does not require location, microphone, camera, SMS, call-log, or broad device-contacts permissions for its core read-only accounting functions.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate authorized users, enforce organization and role boundaries, display the accounting records assigned to an organization, produce financial reports, maintain session continuity, and operate and secure the service. Data is not used by the current application for advertising.
Service providers and data sharing
BASOUL Accounting uses Supabase infrastructure for authentication and application data services. Information is transmitted to service infrastructure only as necessary to provide and secure BASOUL Accounting. BASOUL Accounting does not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.
Security
BASOUL Accounting uses authenticated sessions, organization-scoped authorization controls, database access controls, and encrypted network transport provided by the application and service infrastructure. The Android application uses a public/publishable client key and does not embed privileged Supabase service-role credentials.
Retention and deletion
Organization and accounting records are retained for as long as needed to provide the service, satisfy the organization's operational and accounting requirements, preserve legitimate audit records, and comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations. Authorized deletion requests are evaluated against those obligations; data that is not required to be retained is deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
The current Android application provides sign-in to accounts provisioned for authorized organizations and does not provide self-service account creation. Users who need access removed, an account disabled, or eligible personal data deleted should submit the request through their organization administrator or the verified developer contact mechanism published with the BASOUL Accounting Google Play listing. Requests will be authenticated before changes are made to protect organizational and accounting data.
Children
BASOUL Accounting is a business accounting product and is not designed or directed to children.

This policy may be updated when BASOUL Accounting changes its data practices, service providers, or legal obligations. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
